BY PLANE
The “Marco Polo” international Airport is 40 km. far from Padua. You may reach our town by bus, by train or with a private and more confortable collective taxi, “shuttle service”. The bus departure, waiting and arrival areas are opposite the air terminal; here you’ll find a blue-and-yellow sign reading:”BUSITALIA FERMATA – PADOVA / ABANO TERME”.
The “SITA” bus leaves there every hour (from 05.25 AM until 22.25 PM). Two buses leave every hour (at 25 and 55 minutes). It takes about one hour to reach Padua. (On sundays there is only one bus leaving the airport, every hour at 25 minutes). Ticket fare is about € 9,40. You get out of the bus at BUS TERMINAL from which you can reach hotel IGEA either on foot (10 minutes walk) or by taxi or by bus lines n° 5 – 6 – 14 - 24 and get off at the “hospital” bus stop.
The shuttle service takes you directly in front of the hotel, it’s a private service done with small buses with air conditioning. It has to be booked at least 48 hours in advance. It is possible to have further informations about this service directly from this page.
By using the link on the left you can see a timetable of all the “Marco Polo” departures and arrivals flights
BY CAR
Reaching Padua from the South, the easiest way to arrive to the hotel is by using the motorway A13, exit “PADOVA SUD”.
Better use the “PADOVA EST” exit
In both cases you then have to follow the signals “CENTRO” and “HOSPITAL”.
